Returns

We endeavour to make the returns/exchange process as straightforward as possible. Should you wish to exchange or return any items purchased from our website please email info[at]cherchbi.com stating ‘Return’ in the subject line and state if a return or exchange is required, we will reply with our return address. Any items purchased from our website may be returned in this way.

Return your item unused and in an unmarked condition with original tags and packaging within 30 days of receipt. Please enclose a copy of your Sales Receipt (keeping the original) and a copy of your email. Once your returned goods are received we will immediately despatch a new item, subject to availability, or issue your refund. Refunds will be made to the card originally used for payment.

We recommend use of a trackable, insured postal or courier service for your return.  Unfortunately we cannot be held liable for goods lost in transit.

Items returned outside this time period or not adhering to this procedure may still be exchanged or refunded if the return has been authorised by Cherchbi. Please note that your statutory rights are not affected.

Repairs

Our approach to the design and construction of Cherchbi goods and their repair is comparable to that of the English shoemakers. Quality Goodyear Welted footwear can be resoled and repaired numerous times, the initial expense may be greater than average but the inherent value of a pair of shoes with such longevity is incomparable. Those who invest in English bench-made footwear are unlikely to revert to the alternative.

Every aspect of a Cherchbi item – materials and construction – is designed to last a long time. However, regular use over many years may lead to wear and the eventual need to repair or replace certain parts. The idea that repair should extend the life of our items, like a pair of  Goodyear Welted shoes, has been incorporated into our design handwriting from the start. Virtually every component of all Cherchbi items can be repaired or replaced. We offer a full service to undertake this repair work within the English workshop that originally made the item.

Cherchbi goods are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase. If a fault develops within this time we will repair or replace the item at no charge. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.

If a fault develops outside this guarantee period we will endeavour to repair the item if possible. Please note, there may be a charge for such a repair but this is subsidised by Cherchbi thus the cost will be minimal. The total repair cost will include return postage or courier service.

To arrange a repair please email info[at]cherchbi.com stating ‘Repair’ in the Subject line and include a brief description. Please print a copy of this email and include with your securely packaged item. We recommend the use of a trackable, insured postal or courier service for your return. Unfortunately we cannot be held liable for goods lost in transit.

Please allow us a period of up to six weeks from receipt of your item to complete and return the repair to you. In most cases repairs are returned well within this time.

Please note, where replacement of a component or materials is required then some colour variation may be witnessed. This is dependent on the amount or cause of wear or the type of material. We will attempt to keep variation to a minimum and offer the closest possible match.
